The Center for Music Therapy and Wellness (CMTW) bell was revealed in April of 2023, the 8th Be Well bell and the first to be painted as a community project. This special bell was painted by Shannon Joy in conjunction with clients and staff of CMTW, and can be found at CMTW in Springfield, MO.
I wrapped [the bell] all in music because when I went through a brain injury in 2013, I would use music to communicate when I would go nonverbal. Music has a place that is near and dear to my heart.
